Exploring the Trim Levels of the 2025 Porsche 718
The 2025 Porsche 718 is all about performance, but today, we’re putting the spotlight on a different kind of number: 10. That’s the number of trims you get to choose from.

Exploring the Trim Levels of the 2025 Porsche 718
1. 718 Cayman
The 718 Cayman is Porsche distilled, offering a hardtop, a seven-speed PDK transmission, a 300-horsepower turbocharged flat-four engine, and a mid-engine balance that rewards driving precision. Porsche says this model reaches a top track speed of 171 mph, hits 0 to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds, and clears the quarter-mile in 13.2 seconds.
2. 718 Boxster
The 718 Boxster swaps the hardtop for a power-folding soft top and comes with a smaller rear luggage compartment. The 718 Boxster and the 718 Cayman offer identical performance.
3. 718 Cayman Style Edition
As the name suggests, this variant focuses on aesthetics. It gets contrast stitching, decorative stripes, 20-inch wheels borrowed from the high-end 718 Spyder, and illuminated door sill panels, among other trim-specific enhancements.
4. 718 Boxster Style Edition
The 718 Boxster Style Edition packs all the sharp details of the 718 Cayman Style Edition and lets you drop the top to show it all off. As a finishing touch, the soft top flashes an embossed “Boxster” logo.
5. 718 Cayman S
Next up is the 718 Cayman S, which steps up to a 2.5-liter turbocharged flat-four that outputs 350 horsepower. That extra muscle drops the 0 to 60 time to 4.2 seconds and bumps the top speed to 177 mph.
6. 718 Boxster S
Think of the 718 Boxster S as the 718 Cayman S that ditched its roof for a tan.
7. 718 Cayman GTS 4.0
This model drops the four-banger for a naturally aspirated turbocharged flat-six that delivers 394 horsepower, a 0 to 60 mph time of 3.8 seconds with Chrono Sport Package, and a top track speed of 179 mph.
8. 718 Boxster GTS 4.0
As usual, the Boxster gets the same go-fast goodies as the Cayman. But with the top down, the engine notes don’t just sound good. They follow you.
9. 718 Spyder RS
The Boxster-based Spider RS shares DNA with track weapons such as the 911 GT3, but it’s tuned to play nice on public roads. The main highlight here is the 493-hp turbocharged flat-six engine, good for a 0 to 60 sprint of just 3.2 seconds and a top track speed of 191 mph.
10. 718 Cayman GT4 RS
If you live on the track, this is your 718. It packs serious hardware (like Porsche Composite Ceramic Brake and a lift system on the front axle) and tops out at 196 mph.
