How Do I Activate Porsche Car Connect?
In order to use Remote Services, you will need to activate Porsche Car Connect through the My Porsche app. This can be done through the following steps:
- Register with My Porsche via your local Porsche Center or use the My Porsche app to receive your Porsche ID.
- Create an account on the Porsche Car Connect website and add your Porsche to the account.
- Bring the provided installation code to your local Porsche Center to complete your vehicle activation.
- If you haven’t already, download the My Porsche app to find and view your vehicle information.
How Do I Remotely Lock and Unlock My Vehicle?
With Remote Services, there is no longer a need to hunt for your keys when trying to lock or unlock your doors. Instead, use your smartphone to conveniently access your Porsche. All you need to do is open the My Porsche app, tap Locking/Unlocking, and enter the security code that you set in My Porsche when you registered for an account. You can optionally use Face ID instead of entering a security code for even easier access.
Once your vehicle is locked or unlocked, a status update is available on the home screen. The car status icon will turn black when your vehicle is unlocked and green when unlocked.
