Introducing the 2025 Porsche Taycan

As Porsche’s first all-electric sports car, the Taycan is designed with sustainability and power in mind.
The 2025 Porsche Taycan: The Future of Electric Performance
Three Heading-Turning Body Styles
The Taycan is available in three body styles: the sedan and the wagon-version Cross Turismo and Sport Turismo. The Cross Turismo is a more rugged version of the Taycan sedan and is suitable for off-roading adventures and rough terrains. The Sport Turismo has a similar body style to the Cross Turismo but has less ground clearance and is more suitable for on-road performance.
All in all, the Taycan is a luxury sports car that is low to the ground compared to most electric vehicles. Standard features of the body design include Matrix Design LED headlights and a taillight strip with the Porsche logo in a glass look. You’ll also find satin black wheel arches and window trims as well as black accents on the exterior mirrors, side skirts, and lower front fascia.
Impressive Range and Performance
The base trim of the Taycan sedan offers an over-boost power with launch control of up to 402 hp and an EPA-estimate driving range of 274 mi. You can expect top track speeds of 143 mph with summer tires and a 13-second quarter mile with launch control. Turning fast corners or uneven terrains is also easy with the Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) system that controls the damping forces in different driving modes.
For the model that offers the most power, check out the Taycan Turbo GT, with an over-boost power of up to 1,019 hp and an EPA-estimated driving range of 276 mi. The Turbo GT also boasts top track speeds of 180 mph and quarter miles with launch control of 9.5 seconds.
Convenient Charging Times and Infrastructure
Whether at home or on the go, Porsche has the infrastructure ready to make it easy to keep your Taycan charged up. The Taycan sedan’s charging time from 10 to 80% for direct current (DC) with maximum charging power is 18 minutes. The maximum charging power with DC is 270 kW.
Additionally, Porsche has partnerships that make it convenient to charge around the country. They have a deal with Electrify America that has charging stations nationwide and a network of destination charging stations located on the Porsche charging map. You can also use the My Porsche app and Porsche Connect to easily plan your charging stops before any trip.
